What you will be doing:

• Ensure and maintain the security and integrity of all credit union systems
• Develop, implement, and revise operational plans, policies and procedures, and goals which further strategic objectives
• Ensures active and on-going coaching and development to assigned department staff
• Periodically review the Credit Union’s information needs, modifying and making suggestions for advancements
• Ensure implementation of cost effective and efficient systems and computer operations designed to meet current and future information needs

What you will need:

• Minimum of ten years experience in information services and operations, preferably in a financial institution. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, required
• Cloud System Architecture experience managing cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), hybrid cloud solutions, and cloud migration strategies
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) with experience managing IT projects
• Experience with virtualization technologies, database management and enterprise-level IT infrastructures
• Proven experience in managing IT operations with a focus on security, technology improvements, and strategic planning
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST-Cybersecurity), firewalls, encryption, penetration testing and incident response
• Strong knowledge of IT databases and data management practices
  Experience managing phone system platforms
• Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proficient in MS 365
• Demonstrated ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, databases, etc. with Windows-based software

In our Technical Support Analyst role, you’ll learn skills that will benefit you throughout your Heartland career while encouraging you to dream big.  This position is available full-time

What you will be doing:

• Participate in day-to-day Service Desk support through all various channels including the IT call group and service tickets.
• Escalate issues clearly and in a timely manner to IT leadership, vendors, or department managers.
• Perform server configuration, and maintenance (including Exchange server environment, domain controllers, imaging, phone, Linux, etc.
• Perform IT service tasks as necessary

What you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree, technical degree, certification, or equivalent work experience (required).
• Fundamental knowledge of computer systems and operational use.
• Prior experience in a computer support or help-desk capacity (required).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust your communication style to your audience.
• A positive attitude and strong desire to help others.
• A desire to learn and grow as an IT professional.
• Ability to promote a professional image of the credit union at all time.
• Be able to work rotational on call.

Verona

In the Member Service Representative role, you’ll learn skills that will benefit you throughout your Heartland career while encouraging you to dream big.  This role is available as full or part-time.

What you will be doing:

• Providing quality service to members, potential members, and coworkers
• Accurately and efficiently processing deposits, payments, withdrawals, cash checks, etc. and performing miscellaneous operation duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Engaging with members by recognizing needs and educating them on appropriate credit union services
• Understanding the technology that is available to the members and demonstrating how to use it
• Identifying fraudulent activity and notifying management

What you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust your communication style to your audience
• A positive attitude and strong desire to help others
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to promote a professional image of the credit union at all times

In the Call Center Representative role, you’ll learn skills that will benefit you throughout your Heartland career while encouraging you to dream big. This role is available full-time.

What you will be doing:

• Assist members with questions they have regarding their accounts. Tasks include but are not limited to, general account history, wire transfers, stop payments, debit/credit card lookups, and online banking assistance.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services by helping members identify and understand the benefits of using Heartland’s services and products. Forward these members to the proper departments.
• Understanding the technology that is available to the members and demonstrating how to use it
•  Identifying fraudulent activity and notifying management

What you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of financial and/or call center experience, preferred.
• Experience working in a sales/customer service environment is required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust your communication style to your audience
• Highly adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with members and co-workers.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on a course of action.
• Creative, team-focused, and effective problem-solving.
