Heartland Credit Union Announces Angela Hanson as President and Chief Executive Officer
November 1, 2022 – Heartland Credit Union announced that Angela Hanson has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Sally Dischler, who has been Chief Executive Officer for the past 21 years, will be retiring on November 18, 2022 after 45 years at Heartland Credit Union.
Hanson has over 22 years of credit union and management experience, including strategic planning, innovation, and human resources. Hanson holds designations of Certified Chief Executive (CCE), Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE), and Society for Human Resources Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She is active in the credit union industry, serving as the Board Chair of the Wisconsin CUES Council and serves on Corporate Central Credit Union’s Board of Directors.

Hanson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a Minor in Sociology from Winona State University in Winona, MN.
